HMPUR adhesives of the Exterior range are mainly used for the lamination of PVC and aluminum substrates in the sector of windows with special decorations that will come into direct contact with the exterior. Therefore they must have excellent resistance to weather such as water, humidity and high temperature fluctuations. Our HMPUR adhesives are supplied in a solid state to be melted and applied with a special slot nozzle or hot roller system. Once applied, reactive polyurethanes guarantee an initial bond of a physical nature. As it cools, the first stage of bonding will take place, followed by the last, the chemical one, where the adhesive will provide a strong and durable bond between the substrate and the laminate. HmPur adhesive not only guarantees excellent adhesion, but thanks to its nature it acts as a barrier against the elements that can damage the material over time. In terms of substrate preparation prior to lamination, primer application is essential for successful bonding. Care must be taken after application that the primer is evenly distributed throughout the substrate and completely dry before sticking between the substrate and the foil.
